One of the biggest improvements in External User Manager 2.0 is the amount of information that is instantly accessible to you (the Admin) on the initial screen.

Besides the Overview that you're used to, we have included easy access to a comprehensive Dashboard, User and Team exploration screens, along with Reports.

Let's explore the analytical capabilities of External User Manager 2.0 to fully understand how they'll come in handy during real-world scenarios.

🎛️ Dashboard


The Dashboard is the first screen that will greet you when you open the Requests tab. It gives you a full breakdown of important information related to your tenant.

Here you can:

  • View and Approve Pending Reqeusts.

  • Monitor Recent Activities performed in the app.

  • Check the Environment Overview, including the number of Active Users, Active Access Reviews, and the Number of Organizations.

  • View and interact with all Guests on the tenant.

👤 Users


The Users tab allows you to view all information related to Guests on your tenant.

Here you can:

  • Configure the Date Range for the information included on the Users screen.

  • View an interactive graph with the number of Total External Users and monitor corresponding trends.

  • View the number of Pending, Active, and New Requests, along with Access Reviews.

  • View and interact with all Guests present on your tenant (excluding non-managed).

  • Export the contents of the Users screen in CSV format.

👥 Teams


The Teams screen allows you to view all information related to Teams that contain External Users.

Here you can:

  • View the number of Teams that contain External Users.

  • View the number of External Members.

  • Quickly access potentially unwanted members via the Flagged Access section.

  • View all External Members of a given Team through the External Access Directory.

➡️ My Requests


The My Requests section allows you to view all your current and past Requests, along with which Guests (that you've invited) are on Access Review.

Here you can:

  • View all the Open Requests submitted by you.

  • View all Guests (that you've requested) who are on Access Review.

  • View all Approved/Rejected Guests (submitted by you).

  • Change to Grid View to see more information for each Guest entry.

  • Export the contents of the page in CSV format.

✅ Approvals


The Approvals screen is a one-stop shop for Approving or Rejecting all incoming Requests.

Here you can:

  • View, Approve, or Reject any Open Requests.

  • View, Approve, or Reject any ongoing Access Reviews.

  • View or Re-onboard any Guests that are currently Approved or going through Onboarding.

  • Change to Grid View to see more information on individual Guest entries.

  • Export the contents of the page in a CSV format.

📊 Reports


The Reports page allows you to view all details related to External Users on your tenant and rectify compliance issues.

Here you can:

  • Set the Date Range for the Report.

  • View your Compliance Score along with all the related metrics.

  • View how many Guests on your tenant are managed through External User Manager.

  • View how much Admin Time has been Saved.

  • View a full breakdown of the Potential License Cost associated with External Users.

  • View your Risk Reduction results.

  • View Approval and Onboarding Cycle Time.

  • View your Compliance Score Trend.

  • View a detailed Compliance Posture report that highlights potential issues and allows you to rectify them.

  • Export the contents of the page in a CSV or PDF format.
